Every year my stepdad’s family has a reunion in the small town that they settled in when they immigrated from Germany a hundred years or more ago. I usually enjoy visiting with the family but something about a 2 hour car ride with a 2 an a half year old when it is pouring down rain doesn’t sound very appealing. I just hope that we all make it there and back in one piece.
Update: The reunion was canceled due to the weather but unfortunately we didn’t find out until we were over half of the way there.
