Cymbalta Sucks

Friday was my first day at a lower dosage of Cymbalta, 40 mg instead of 60mg.  This marks the beginning of my second medication taper.  Unlike with the lithium, I don’t have a very good plan for this taper.  I am just going to see how long it takes for me to feel better before I go reducing the dosage again.  If I ever feel better.

Cymbalta is worse than crack I imagine.  Nausea, headaches, chills, no appetite, body aches.  The worst of all is the unmotivation.  Trying to do anything takes an extreme amount of psyching one’s self up to even get started.  Just writing this is hard.  I have to will my fingers and arms to move just to get the words out.  All I want to do is crawl into bed and not come out except to use the bathroom and if I could figure out how to not do that and still be hygenic I would so be there.

All in all, Cymbalta sucks.  If you can help it never start taking it.  It just isn’t worth it.   These drug companies are so full of crap about no withdrawal effects and such.  I wonder if they would give these drugs to their own children or their spouses or their parents?  That would be the true indicator of their corruption.  I am going to go now before I make an even bigger idiot of myself spouting my conspiracy theories.  I promise I am not usually like this.

A Trip Back in Time

I got this in an email this morning:

Check it out and let me know what you think.  I think that I would like one of those “good” wives too.  Since I work all day and don’t have time for that shit when I get home I guess that makes me a “bad” wife by those standards.  I bet HH wishes he had a “good” wife.  Too bad that “good” wives don’t bring home the bacon or anything.

Update: Wordpress Update

I think I have gotten all of the problems fixed now so that it is at least as functional as it was before I started messing things up.  I still need to go through the plug-ins and get some new ones that I have seen.  I guess that can be done later.

On a positive note, now I can blog directly from my iPhone using the Wordpress iPhone application.  It wouldn’t work previously because my blog was using an outdated version of Wordpress.  I guess sometimes good things happen when bad things happen.  That probably makes no sense at all but since I am tired and coming down from being uber-frustrated, I could care less.

We shall see what is in store for my blog in the future with more updates to come surely.  Maybe next time I will actually read directions before making crazy changes.  Maybe not.
